Why would getting pregnant on purpose before you get married, or are engaged for that matter be "in a good way"?

Some people don't think being married is a necessity if you want to have a child together. It is "coincidental" that she happened to get engaged once she found out she was pregnant, but anything is possible. I don't know Salma personally so I can only guess -- and wish her, and her new family, the best.

I'm with Josey, I don't think we can assume that any pregnancy that occurs outside of wedlock is an accident. And I also don't think that celebrities feel pressure to marry after pregnancy therefore eliminating the potential "trap" of pregnancy to catch a man.

I must be really conservative. I think it's wrong to get pregnant on purpose. The standards are being lowered in our society and people seem to be accepting it.

Half of the kids out there are being born out of wedlock. The family unit is become something from yesterday. Thats a shame.
