Remember when I told you that the coveted domain names of GirlsOnly.com, Hotties.com, Streaking.com, Fetish.com, DeepThroat.net, X-rated.com, SexParty.com, Housewives.com and LUV.com were up for auction? Well, if you were holding out on buying them in hopes that you would instead be able to buy GirlsOnly.xxx, Hotties.xxx, Streaking.xxx, Fetish.xxx, DeepThroat.xxx, X-rated.xxx, SexParty.xxx, Housewives.xxx and LUV.xxx, you're out of luck (for now anyway):
Last Friday, the International Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers voted 9-5 to reject a proposal by ICM Registry to set up and operate a .xxx domain for sex-related sites. In the wake of ICANN's decision, ICM Registry CEO Stuart Lawley said that the dispute will likely wind up in court. "This will probably go into litigation," Lawley said. "There are multiple prongs for challenging the ICANN decision."
I had no idea that .xxx was such a serious issue! Who woulda thunk it?
About that time I told you that scientists were trying to use panda porn to encourage other pandas to mate: It's not working:
Thai zoo keepers artificially inseminated a female panda on Monday after her male partner failed to perform despite video 'panda porn' aimed at teaching him how to impregnate her, officials said. 'We let them stay together last night, but Chuang Chuang was having fun teasing his partner while Lin Hui was sexually ready,' Sophon Dumnui, head of the state body which supervises the zoo, told reporters. 'Although we have shown him the how-to-mate video several times, Chuang Chuang is probably a little bit too young to mate. His sex organ is too small and short,' Sophon said.
Geeeez, talk about insult to injury! Harsh, Sophon. Really harsh.
LOL, I didn't know it was such a hot issue, either! Maybe they should let them go to .xxx sites, but only on the condition that they are NO LONGER ALLOWED to have non-.xxx sites like .com or .net. That way, there will be no more accidentally stumbling into porn sites because they have innocent-sounding names, and there will be no question of whether or not Little Jimmy was playing on a porn site if you see .xxx on there, lol.
Oh, and I feel really sorry for the poor pandas, lol. Poor Lin Hui's being teased and poor Chuang Chuang is having to deal with humiliation over his "shortcomings". Hey, maybe they need toys? ROFL... ;-)
I've heard about the Panda Porn. I think they have had success with other older panda's. Guess it just didn't work this time.
