Lingerie Show
It was my first lingerie show.
I expected to see a lot of bras, undies and shapewear. I didn't expect to see quite so many women wearing bras, undies and shapewear. (And no, I don't mean under their clothes.)
Yes, granted, they were models. And lingerie models modeling lingerie at a lingerie show? Perfectly acceptable. But lingerie models wearing lingerie while grabbing a sandwich at the concession stand? I mean... Seriously.
Now, you guys know I'm a ponytail girl; I've always been a tomboy. But walking through those aisles I couldn't help but think how uncomfortable it all looked. Just seeing the samples made me feel like I was wearing a wool sweater.
I know, I know: I've read the articles that say lingerie helps improve a woman's self-confidence, even her posture. But is it really worth it? And here's another question:
Explain your vote below.

If by "lingerie" you mean bras and underwear--I wear it for myself. If by "lingerie" you mean fancy, lacy, teddies, nighties and the like that would be "C-none of the above". In my skinny twentysomethings I wore it and that'd be for HIM because you're right that stuff is itchy and uncomfortable!
What's the point of lingerie, really? I don't need it to stimulate his appetite, it's not comfy, it costs too much, and it all ends up in a puddle on the floor, anyway, lol. ;)
Seriously! I wanna know who these 16 women are that said they purchase it for themselves. Because I don't know a single girl who buys lingerie just to dance around in front of a mirror telling themselves how great they look. And I also don't know a single man who would rather have a quick look at lingerie then a great dinner and a BJ to get things heated up. HAHA
Update: The hubbs just said that lingerie is for the lazy and unimaginative woman. There's more to "eye candy" then some sheer lace draped over a touch of skin.
