Sometimes I Just Don't Like Surprises

I just went to a screening of Made of Honor, the Patrick Dempsey movie about this ever-so-popular iVillage topic. And you know what I decided? You know how some people feel cool walking out of romantic comedies saying Ugh, that was sooo predictable...? Well, I decided that I like predictable romantic comedies. Romantic comedies should be predictable. When the guy and the girl don't get together in the end, I am royally annoyed. Save twists for other genres. I don't care that so many romantic comedies use the exact same storyline. You know why there's such thing as a template? A formula? A cliché? Because it works. And I leave the theater happy.
Not intellectually stimulated.
But happy.
So there.

Yes, but still sometimes its just as good when its not what we expect.
Look at My best Friends Wedding! how great was that movie and she didn't get the guy at the end.
