Do Not Bother Your Local Librarian
Have any of you seen the new Sex and the City movie? Based on box office reports, I'm going to take a wild guess and say nearly all of you have. Regardless, there's no need for a spoiler alert here (although someday I'm going to go postal and unleash a serious diatribe on the ending—Myrna and I had a big debate about it).
I just wanted to show you this Yahoo! News article about the Love Letters of Great Men book Carrie is reading as research for her new book. I finally saw the flick the other night, and as soon as she started quoting it, the romantic in me insisted I go straight to the New York Public Library to rent it. (Just one of the many voices in my head.) But for anyone else who had the same thought, bad news! There's no such book:
"The closest text in the real world apparently is 'Love Letters of Great Men and Women: From the Eighteenth Century to the Present Day,' first released in the 1920s and reissued last year by Kessinger Publishing, which specializes in bringing back old works."In fact, apparently so many people have searched for the movie book and been directed to the real one that it recently ranked 134 on Amazon.

Oooh I want to hear your diatribe on the ending! LOL
I saw the movie, loved it and admit that I also thought the book was cool--someone should create it!
I was disappointed in the movie.
